FIELD: physics; radio.
SUBSTANCE: superheterodyne receiver relates to radio engineering and can be used in radio systems for different purposes. The superheterodyne receiver comprises two reception antennae, to input circuits, two radio-frequency amplifiers, two mixers, a heterodyne, two intermediate frequency amplifiers, two detectors, two switches, two signal-to-noise ratio measuring devices, an electronic switch, a comparator unit, an adder, a modulation frequency amplifier, a terminal device and an AGC circuit.
EFFECT: wider functional capabilities and increased noise immunity of the receiver due to reception of useful information contained in signals with two polarisations.
