FIELD: paper industry.
SUBSTANCE: device contains heated and rotating cylinder of drying part of paper-producing machine. Inside cylinder casing is loaded with heating medium. Under external surface of cylinder casing at least one channel for passing heating medium is formed. In order to form channel inside cylinder casing additional cylinder casing, located at a distance from external casing, is installed. External cylinder casing is formed by cover plates. External cylinder casing is connected with internal cylinder casing by connecting means. Cover plates and connecting means are joined into profiled elements, in particular into profiled elements of U-shaped or T-shaped form.
EFFECT: increase of drying capacity of heated cylinder due to improvement of heat-transmission, simplification of its production with simultaneous increase of reliability and stability of element connection.
