FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: method includes receiving audio signal and spatial information, creation of modified spatial information using spatial information and audio signal decoding using modified spatial information. In this process modified spatial information includes at least one thing from partial spatial information, combined spatial information and extended spatial information. At the same time, audio signal is decoded into configuration that differs from configuration defined by decoder. Even when number of loudspeakers is less or greater than multiple channels number before execution of lowering mixing, it is possible to form output channels from lowering mixing audio signal in the quantity equal to the number of loudspeakers.
EFFECT: providing audio signal generation with configuration that differs from predefined tree-shaped configuration by shaping variously configured output signals; and significant decrease in load of operations required for audio signal decoding.
