FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method may be used to grow planting stock of aerochorous arboreous species in dry conditions of southern treeless steppe and semidesert areas. Growth of planting stock is carried out between artificially created seed plantation strips. Seed plantation strips are oriented across dominant direction of winds. Ordered sowing of area is obtained through natural sowing of seeds from fruit-bearing trees of strips under action of wind into previously prepared open sowing furrows. In dry years watering is done through overhead irrigation.
EFFECT: production of planting stock with high hereditary character, which is most adapted for local forest conditions; affordability and ease of works performance; considerable reduction of planting stock growth prime cost; combination of seed growing and planting stock growth in a single technological processes; mass reproduction of promising stable forms of seed plants.
