SUBSTANCE: invention relates to remote data collection apparatus for determining installation configuration. The installation system includes devices determined by the corresponding number of elementary nodes. The system has passive transponders for storing corresponding identification data of an elementary node, active transponders for storing at least identification data of several elementary nodes, a node for updating identification data stored in the active transponder of each device, and a node for automatic reading identification data from active transponders.

EFFECT: provision for identification of components or nodes and installation configuration through an unambiguous code stored in passive and active transponders of components and nodes.
