SUBSTANCE: flipper comprises at least one blade joint to galosh or half-galosh. It is equipped with at least one fin. Fin size is comparable to blade size. Fins serve as blades, and blades serve as fins. Flipper provides for swimming by motion of feet in vertical and horizontal plane, with simultaneous holding of swimmer in swimming course. Blade and fin are arranged as extended. Open or closed air cavity is arranged in flipper. Galosh or half-galosh, according to the second version, are arranged in the form of open or closed half-galosh-sock. At the same time fin is continued into sock of open or closed half-galosh-sock.

EFFECT: provision of possibility of strictly directed swimming, as per specified course, and provision of possibility for swimming by motion of feet in horizontal plane.
