FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: river vehicle contains body, steering device and hydraulic wheel, and gear pump the driving shaft of which is kinematically connected with hydraulic wheel, hydraulic accumulator for accumulation of working liquid which under positive pressure comes from gear pump, and valve gear for distribution of working liquid stored in container and entering spaces above and under double-acting hydraulic pistons able to be cut from hydraulic accumulator by stop valve. Pistons of hydraulic cylinders are rigidly connected with stems which are poles at opposite ends of which tips are rigidly mounted. The tips are contacting with river-bed surface. Each stem is equipped with adjusting clutches, hydraulic cylinders are connected with body of vessel via bracket with articulated joints and return springs. Hydraulic wheel diametre exceeds diametre of hydraulic pump gears at least by ten times.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve performance of river vehicle when it moves against water current in river.
