FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production, particularly to aircraft gas turbine engine fan vanes. Proposed hollow vane comprises aerodynamically shaped tight shell and structural elements arranged inside said shell and representing ribs to make two communicated cells. The latter contain gaseous medium kept under excess pressure to make a structural element to add to stiffness and to tune out in resonance frequencies from plate-like oscillations of shell sections of vane outer sheets.
EFFECT: higher stiffness, reduced vibration due to forced gas feed into vane inner space.
