SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data analysis and more specifically to systems and methods for obtaining information from a system operating in a network using a distributed search agent on the World Wide Web. In one version of the invention the data analysis system includes a first component linked to the data analysis system server which enables generation of a first set of data related to information of the web page obtained on a communication system, a second component which controls a second set of data related to information of the web page from at least one distributed resource which interacts with the communication system, where the second set of data is used to refine the first set of data, where refinement of the first set of data involves addition of unknown information to the second set of data when new information is received from the distributed resource through the second set of data or updating existing information in the second set of data if there are changes to content of the web page information as indicated by the second set of data.
EFFECT: providing server clients with fast and accurate web agent search data.
