FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production. Rotary ICE comprises pairs of two-chamber units with "intake-compression" and "work stroke-exhaust" chambers. Closed variable volumes in aforesaid chambers are formed by two-apices rotors revolving in circular stators. Gas charge transfer via aforesaid units is effected via holes made in fixed sidewalls and channels arranged on side surfaces of rotors. Common shaft articulates rotors of the units and is mounted off center with respect to stator center. Centers of circular stators in every pair are aligned. Every rotor consists of two sliding pairs of symmetric parts, that is, rotary sealing shoes and rectilinear guides sliding along rotor lengthwise axis. Said shaft consists of chamber cylindrical and hollow parts with plates welded thereto. Spring is used to press rotary sealing shoes against stator. Plates moving in rotor slots make it revolve. Said rotary sealing shoes terminate in curvilinear constant-curvature ledges that slide along crosswise circular wall on the rotor. On using two pairs of two-chamber units, centers of rotors of adjacent pairs are located on opposite sides of aforesaid common work shaft. Units proper are located nearby "working stroke-exhaust" chambers. Space between adjacent fixed walls are used to withdraw burnt charge.
EFFECT: easier manufacture, longer life.
