FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to irrigation and can be used in sprinklers. Sprinkler nozzle comprises casing with reducing hole arranged on water feed pipe union and furnished with deflector attached thereto with the help of post. Deflector work surface represents concave second-order surface. Curvilinear surface has the axis of symmetry lying in the reducing hole axis plane, not crossing it. Deflector work surface represents a section of toroidal surface. Radius of circumference that forms torus surface makes 20 to 30 mm. On feeding irrigating water through reducing hole at 0.35 to 0.45 MPa (3.5 to 4.5 kgf/cm), 0.1 to 0.3mm-thick water film is formed on deflector surface to form finely dispersed water drops with diametre of 0.1 to 0.3 mm. Thus dispersed water flow falls on leaves and stems to damp soil without forming soil crust.
EFFECT: finely-dispersed equal-intensity rain.
