FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method includes usage of three pairs of rollers arranged one after another at the outlet of mill stand, besides the first pair is installed at the distance (0.3-0.5)L, where L is length of working roll body, from the line that connects centres of rolls. The first and last pairs are installed as fixed, and middle pair of diverging rolls may move up and down. Reduction of longitudinal residual stresses in strip in process of its rolling is provided by the fact that rolls of the first pair have matching profiles: one convex and one concave. Rolls of the second and third pairs are not profiled; as diverging rolls move up or down, strip partially turns round accordingly upper or lower profiled roll of the first pair. Angle of strip and profiled roll coverage depends on distance, at which diverging rolls have lifted or lowered. At the same time due to variation of distance covered by middle and edges of strip on surface of profiled roll, additional stress is developed in strip, and it reduces imbalance of draws along strip width, acting at outlet section of deformation site.
EFFECT: controlled value of draw along width of thin-sheet steel strip.
