FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: litter includes the following components, wt %: granulated aerated concrete 99.968-99.979; flavor, natural fragrant oils 0.02-0.03; antiseptic, sodium hypochlorite 0.001- 0.002. Aerated concrete characteristics: apparent density 300-700 kg/m³; reagent capacity by ammonia 0.6-1.0 mg-eq/g; sorption capacity by ammonia 0.9-1.0 mg-eq/g; adsorption capacity of moisture adsorption 95-98%; grain size composition 1.0-15.0 mm. Method includes treatment of initial raw materials from aerated concrete by means of aerated concrete blocks crushing and balling of abrasive sharp fractures in rotary tumbling mill. Afterwards material is extracted by fraction of 1-15 mm by means of sizing. Produced granules are treated with dispersed water solution of sodium hypochlorite and dried. Then granules are treated with dispersed water solution of natural fragrant oils and dried. Finished product is packed in bags.

EFFECT: technology will make it possible to produce product of improve quality due to increase of reagent, sorption and adsorption ability, and also to create convenient conditions for pets and their owners.
