SUBSTANCE: recording medium has a playlist catalogue region and an information navigation region. The playlist catalogue region stores the playlist catalogue which contains several playlist files. Each playlist file denotes a part of video data with several playback channels. Part of the playlist files corresponds to different playback channels. The navigation information region stores navigation information which provides information on one playback channel.
EFFECT: design of a recording medium with a data structure for managing playback of video data recorded on the said medium from several playback channels, as well as methods and devices for recording and playing back from the said medium.
