SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates and compositions of ceramic mixtures which can be used in making facing wall tiles. The ceramic mixture for making facing tiles contains loess loam, kaolinite clay and crushed fragments of ceramic objects for sanitary purposes, with the following ratio of components in wt %: loess loam 60.0-75.0; kaolinite clay - 5.0-10.0; crushed fragments of ceramic objects for sanitary purposes - 20.0-30.0.
