FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: damper consists of working cylinder wherein there is installed piston. The piston consists of two parts each containing channels bent at direct angle on its external surfaces; also the channels adjoin ribs. Each half of the piston is secured on separate rods by means of screw compression springs. The rods are movably installed one in another. The springs have opposite to each other coiling and linear and twist rigidity different by value. The said screw springs preliminary deformed by compression force are installed on the rods.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of damping vehicles oscillations.
