FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: sensor has a rotor in form of a parallelepiped placed in an evacuated chamber which rotates together with the rotor, gas-dynamic spherical supports, a motor, a device for supplying power and retrieving information from the rotor, a magnetoelectric moment sensor consisting of two coils and permanent magnets, where the magnets are placed on the rotor and the windings are placed behind the walls of a sealed chamber. On the shaft of the gyroscope there is a feedback channel amplifier which includes a standard resistor and a voltage-to-frequency converter. A signal from one coil of the magnetoelectric moment sensor is transmitted to the input of the amplifier. The output of the amplifier is connected to the input of the other coil, whose output is connected to the input of the standard resistor and to the input of the voltage-to-frequency converter, whose signal is transmitted through a current terminal to the stationary part of the gyroscope. The output of the standard resistor is connected to the common wire.

EFFECT: accuracy is increased due to exclusion of a resolver which causes hysteresis, installation on the rotating part of a feedback channel amplifier, standard resistor and voltage-to-frequency converter.
