FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for automatic control of stitched security papers integrity is intended for control of integrity and protection against unauthorised access to documents of high value. Documents consist of sheets stitched to each other. Sign of integrity is applied onto document edge, covering ends of all pages by the sign. Reference optical image of integrity sign is positioned, read and digitised. In process of control, control and reference signs of integrity are compared. Conclusion is made on document integrity, availability of damages, on document unsealing.
EFFECT: using processed edge of stitched document accelerates, simplifies, automates control of stitched documents integrity and control of unauthorised unsealing of document.
