FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: in compliance with proposed method, data on current engine parametres Pcur are written on detachable storage and copied into memory unit of the ground system of parametric diagnostics. Said current parametres comprises deviations dPcur of parameters reduced to standard atmospheric conditions and standard engine operating conditions at steady-state conditions Pst-st of diagnosed engine from reduced controlled parametres determined from measured parametres of said engine at initial state of operation Pini. Then for every controlled parametre, dPcur is compared to appropriate tolerable magnitude with dPdop, and in case dPcur exceeds the latter, the signs of the other interrelated parametres are determined. Now combination of said signs of deviation allows defining most probable cause of deviations to produce recommendations for their elimination.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and validity of diagnostics.
