FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: grenade launcher consists of housing, barrel and firing mechanism with hammer. Grenade launcher incorporates damping spring accommodated on one axle with firing spring inside hammer body. Note here that hammer represents hollow cylinder with diametre equal to barrel ID furnished with link with ledge and spring-loaded sear. Mutual arrangement of sear and ledge is selected to allow sear to lock hammer in extreme rear point of hammer recoil. Barrel inner surface has ledge to limit grenade travel in fitting it into barrel and hammer forward travel in firing. During shot, hammer nose strikes grenade blasting cap prior to concussion between hammer body and barrel inner surface ledge.
EFFECT: lower recoil impulse.
