FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: jet engine includes exhaust variable cross-section nozzle including at least one flap installed with possibility of being rotated about the pin. Pin is attached to fixed construction of jet engine with two bracing rods each of which includes a groove for its arrangement. Flap includes two attachment elements each of which has a groove through which a pin passes, and which are brought into action with power cylinder on which they are installed with possibility of rotation. Pin, grooves of bracing rods and grooves of attachment elements are made so that contacts of the pin with walls of grooves of bracing rods and walls of grooves of attachment elements are performed along convex surfaces. The other invention of the group refers to the pin for the above described jet engine representing a cylindrical body and having two convex support surfaces on each end.

EFFECT: inventions allow enlarging service life of pins, as well as reducing the risk of nozzle jamming owing to eliminating additional stresses appearing on the pin during the engine operation.
