FIELD: illumination.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light engineering, in particular, to protected including explosionproof illuminating and light signalling devices with circular light distribution on powerful light diodes that work with cooling radiators. Light fixture is arranged in protective shell, including body and optically transparent cap with bulb installed inside or optical module in the form of at least one hollow polyhedron of heat conducting material, on faces of which power light diodes are mounted in heat contact, being electrically connected to each other and to electronic converter of supply network. Polyhedron-radiator of light diodes cooling has openings/slots, gaps for convective heat exchange of its inner volume with environment and is in thermal contact with one or several additional radiators, one of which covers internal cavity of polyhedron.
EFFECT: improved thermal parametres of light fixture on powerful light diodes due to increased efficiency of conductive and convective heat exchange of bulb light diodes or optical module with environment, increasing explosion safety and longevity of device.
