FIELD: fire fighting equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fire-fighting equipment. A fire air bomb comprising an extinguishant container, a central dispersing explosive charge, a detonator, stabilisers, is equipped with a brake unit which after pulse mode actuated brakes the bomb approaching the ground surface to minimum rate. The bomb can be supplied with the brake unit that either represents a jet engine, or is filled with a powdered extinguishant and a displacing propellant charge. The combustion gases of the jet engine or the powdered extinguishant from a nozzle of the brake unit have proper fire-fighting behaviour and provide fire extinguishing when spread on the ground surface.
EFFECT: ensured higher effectiveness of forest fire control.
