SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industry of construction materials and compositions of ceramic mixtures for making bricks. The ceramic mixture for making bricks contains quartz sand, chalk, potash and/or calcined soda, clay and fuel ash pre-molten with phosphogypsum and/or gypsum, with the following ratio of components in wt %: phosphogypsum and/or gypsum - 2.0-3.0; clay - 54.0-61.0; fuel ash - 14.0-18.0; chalk - 3.0-5.0; potash and/or calined soda - 5.0-10.0; quartz sand - 10.0-15.0.
