FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: napkin article comprises single-layer napkin cloth with pulp fibres. Its voluminousness in dry condition is at least 3 cm3/g. Geometric mean of article tensile strength makes below 1000 g/3 inches. Tensility in transverse machine direction makes below 11%. And ratio of tensile strength in transverse machine direction to tension in transverse machine direction is less than 50. Inclination in transverse direction, which characterises value of inclination in curve of sheet tension-stretching in process of tensile test makes less than 3 kg. Napkin fabrics contains non-crepe cloths dried in through air flow. Cloths are shaped in process of drying in air flow, in which both transfer material and material of device for drying in air flow represent textured materials having even high distribution of tension in transverse machine direction.
EFFECT: improvement of properties in transverse machine direction is achieved by deformation or shaping of napkin cloth in one or more materials in process of napkin manufacturing.
