SUBSTANCE: scale for detection of distance to target is installed in optical sights and instruments. It represents a row of joined rectangles. They reflect visible angular perspective of target located at various distances. A row of rectangles provides for measurement of distance to target by comparison of width and height of target accordingly with width and height of specified rectangles.
EFFECT: reduced error in measurement of distance to target.
