FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: double-stage coned-bore controlled missile comprises cruise stage of lower calibre and separated engine made of composite material with powder charge and cylindrical frame with coned-ogive front part. Coned-ogive part of engine body is arranged with length of (1.6…6.5) of calibre, and thickness of its wall is arranged as increasing in direction from cylindrical part of body to front end of engine. Charge is fixed to body of engine along the whole side surface, and engine and cruise stage are arranged with weight ratio of 2.2…3.9 with ratio of charge weight to common weight of missile of 0.3…0.62.
EFFECT: reduced aerodynamic resistance and increased reliability of missile due to establishment of optimal ratio of weight characteristics of missile stages, geometric parametres of coned-ogive front part of engine.
