FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power machine building. In compliance with proposed method, powder-like medium is carried from hopper via inlet valve into transport pipeline, feeding air from receiver via interrupter and feeding air pulse onto inlet valve surface via pipe to close aid valve and onto powder-like medium to force it through transport pipeline. First, air pulse of smaller part of total air volume is used to act on inlet valve surface for its closure and, then air pulse of remaining volume is used to act on powder-like surface along transport pipeline. Additionally, used are outlet branch pipe that communicates casing with transport conveyor and auxiliary branch pipe that communicates casing with transport pipeline outlet section. Air pulse action on powder-like medium represents a shock wave formed at accelerating section of transport pipeline between interrupter and inlet section of transport pipeline. Note here that shock wave acts through powder-like medium in auxiliary branch pipe on inlet valve surface to cover it by compacted layer of powder-like medium.

EFFECT: increased conveying range and higher reliability.
