FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises rocket release with payload from aircraft and starting first-stage sustainer engine at distance safe for aircraft. Note here that engine control surface deflection planes are turned relative to rocket stabilisation planes. Rocket turn after coming out from aircraft into preset angular position in vertical plane is performed with the help of additional jet unit. Said turn is carried out prior to rocket programmed flight. Using peculiarity of sustainer engine control circuit allows accelerated processing of rocket flight angular parametres in the most crucial pitch channel by reducing them to preset magnitudes at the start section end moment. Said magnitudes are defined from rocket stabilisation conditions at subsequent flight section which allows reducing start section duration and power losses thereat.
EFFECT: increased payload.
