FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for pressing out and pressing in of large-sized assembly units and parts. Proposed press comprises fixed front and rear posts connected by top and bottom braces. Front post accommodates main power cylinder with plunger. Movable crossarm is arranged between said posts. Said press incorporates housing representing thin-wall tube with length H, whereon two centering ribs representing segments are arranged. Diametre of segments makes 0.3 H and 0.76 H. Besides three stiffness ribs are regularly arranged on said tube. Faceplate is secured on one end face of aforesaid tube jointed to said stiffness ribs. Thrust faceplate is secured onto the other end. Said tube houses rod. Tube is fitted in the hole of movable crossarm on stiffness ribs. Centering mounting ribs are spaced apart by 0.4 H. One of said ribs, representing a segment with 0.3 H diametre, is fitted at 0.2 H from tube end face.
