FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of mixtures of the tested oil with standard oil in ratio % by weight 90:10, 50:50, 10:90, sampling of samples of each mixture, which are analysed in several steps: they are exposed at increased temperature during 24 hours; cooled to room temperature, exposed during 8 hours at decreased temperature, exposed at room temperature during 240 hours; visual estimate of physical state of samples is performed after each step for detection of physical changes as deviations from the norm; in case there are no physical changes in samples, there additionally determined is lubricating capacity on four-ball friction machine and tendency for foam formation of initial oils and prepared mixtures; from these values obtained for initial oils there fixed are the worst ones which are taken as base values of each property with which the value of identical property of mixture is compared, and in case there is no deviation of values of mixtures for the worse of all oil properties, they are considered as compatible; at that, increased and low temperatures are accepted equal to 120±2°C and minus 6°C respectively, and in addition there determined is demulsification time and stability against oxidation of initial oils and their mixtures; the obtained results are compared to the base values chosen earlier and obtained for initial oils.

EFFECT: enlarging the range of the tested oils at maintaining accurate results.
