SUBSTANCE: drilling rock bit comprises body and cone self-cleaning cutters, main and reverse cones of which are reinforced with rock cutting elements. Special feature of the bit is the fact that when using cutters with rock cutting elements at peripheral crowns, pitch between them with a difference of not more than 20%, total number of rock cutting elements on the main and reverse cones of all cutters is selected as identical, besides main cones of all cutters are arranged with identical number of crowns.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of rock bit operation due to even loading of its cutters and better driving.
