FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: ice tray includes metal capacity in which replaceable cassettes with cells are installed. Cassettes are made in the form of matrixes from low heat-conducting material with hemi-spherical cells which are connected to each other by means of metal pins. Rubber rectangular and porous rubber annular-shaped gaskets are installed between cassettes and matrixes. Gaskets are pressed with adjusting screws. Screws are located on the side of capacity along all the planes of mating surfaces of matrixes for air passage from spheres when the capacity is being filled with water. Inside the capacity there installed is metal and plastic gaskets with the holes through which the detachable screws installed from below the capacity contact the metal gasket. Support temperature-compensating plate is installed between matrix and inner surface of capacity after water is filled. Adjusting and detachable screws are installed in the nuts located on the outside of capacity on the side and from below. Plastic fluor serves as matrix material.
EFFECT: obtaining ice crystals in the form of sphere and with various sizes as to diametre.
