FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: tubular light guide acquires inner reflecting properties by several methods. In order to limit formation of focusing points, which may result in formation of local overheating sections as light goes down along pipe, tubular light guide is provided with holes or longitudinal corrugations.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of illumination system.
