FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: inlet device of negative displacement pump comprises circular diffuser section 1 and cylindrical section 2 on device outlet. Circular diffuser section 1 consists of axially symmetric front and rear fair 3, 4 and cylindrical insert 5 arranged there between and aligned therewith. Said insert 5 has lateral shaped channel of ω-shape in radial section, symmetric about diametre of insert 5. Fluid radial feed through cylindrical insert 5 decreases radial dimensions of pump unit and allows ease of mounting it in armored capsule. All parts of proposed device are machined at lathes and millers that adds to ease of their production which is especially critical in individual production.
EFFECT: reduced radial dimensions and ease of production.
