FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in using two target contactless pickups operating in different ranges of electromagnetic spectrum, locking the target and defining target flight side at notable misses by target radiometric pickup, locking the target and defining target flight side at insignificant misses by target optical pickup. Note here that, first, target position relative to rocket axis is determined proceeding from comparison of polarity of signals from rocket warhead homing azimuth and elevation angle pickups. Target positions determined by warhead homing unit and, on the other side, by target radiometric and optical picks are compared. Decision is made about absence of interferences in case both aforesaid positions agree. Forecast angular position of the target is determined proceeding from dynamics of its angular motion. Dynamics of angular motion of the target is determined proceeding from angular velocity and target acceleration. Target angular velocity and acceleration are determined proceeding from comparison of target angular coordinates with preset values. Decision is made about rocket warhead killability field formation in direction of target flight with due allowance for target forecast angular motion.
EFFECT: higher noise immunity.
