FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: powered support includes basic column separated into basic sections, every of which consists of front and goaf walls with pneumatic stands of stay brace and tails connecting front and goaf walls in bed soil, and linear sections, every of which consists of beam with guide, sliding element and flat frame with roller supports on shock absorbers that may move inside tails of basic section. Barrier element is represented by capsule, on top of which there is beam arranged with guide pulled through capsule arch, and cylinder of pneumatic lift struts off against capsule bottom with sliding lock-fixator, pulled through centre of frame, stem of which struts off against boot, which is rigidly connected by traction rods to frame.

EFFECT: increased stability and flexibility of support into steep falling bed, possibility to recover position of sections as normal to bed and to compensate for slide of support by providing sections for rise, increased safety and comfort of conditions for work of people and operation of equipment that controls mechanisms of physical coal destruction.
