FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rocket comprises subcaliber sustainer stage and engine separable in flight. Said engine incorporates mounting seat to accommodate sustainer stage tail part and piston to push it forward, adapter fairing and annular thrust. Thrust is mounted on sustainer stage tail end and secured at mounting seat front part. Adapter fairing incorporates cylindrical frame fitted on sustainer stage tail part. Frame rear end accommodates a flange secured along edges of said mounting seat. Circular groove is made on the flange rear face, below flange attachment point, to produce reducing web. Spacer ring is fitted into said groove. Thrust arranged on the surface that stays in contact with sustainer stage side surface is provided with lengthwise cutouts. Ring with ledges arranged in thrust cutouts, behind the thrust on sustainer stage tail part. Height of ring ledges exceeds the total thickness of the thrust and reducing web of the flange.
EFFECT: reduced lateral disturbances of sustainer stage during separation.
