FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: optical head unit has a laser light source, a system of collimating lenses which includes several lenses for forming a parallel beam of light emitted by the laser light source and incident on it in form of scattered light, and an objective lens. The system of collimating lenses includes a first lens unit which can move in the direction of the optical axis of the laser beam and a fixed second lens unit. Both the first and second lens units include a convex lens system.
EFFECT: aberration correction, increased compactness of the system.
