FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in that signals, in the form of e.m.f. picked off pressure sensors, e.g. piezo electric transducers arranged at landing gear legs points of attachment to airframe, directly proportional to aircraft weight are used to determined aircraft weight and position of its center of gravity. Proposed dhevice consists of pressure sensors (5, 6 and 7), microcontroller (8) and display (9). All device components are arranged onboard the aircraft. Signals C"гл.пр.", C"гл.л.", C"пер." from pressure sensors (5, 6, 7) come to microcontroller (8) to be converted into digital signals of aircraft weight and position of aircraft center of gravity on lateral and longitudinal axes and sent to display (9) for screw to obtain visual info on aircraft weight and center of gravity prior to taking off.

EFFECT: higher flight safety.
