SUBSTANCE: rapier of loom comprises two coaxially installed tubes 2 and 3, inside of which there is a facility to create helical vortex flow 6, and inner tube 3 is connected to source of compressed air, at the same time facility for creation of helical vortex flow 6 is arranged in the form of independent helical body fixed at the rapier ends and arranged in inner part of internal tube 3 of rapier along its length with pitch that reduces to outlet.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve quality of produced fabric by provision of possibility to adjust weft thread twist and adjustment of air flow density.
