FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device intended for cleaning cereals by airflows and can be used in agriculture, silos, farms etc. Proposed separator comprises bin, feeder, lengthwise separating channel with flat nozzle arranged at its front and screens to level airflow, fan and collectors of fractions. Separator comprises also grids arranged stepwise behind the feeder and displaced along separating channel length. Said grids are made up of shaped rods secured in cantilever on connecting plates and arranged in at least one line. Free ends of said rods are bent in vertical plane. Separator has also device to impart vibration to said grids. Airflow leveling grids feature free area increasing in height from top to bottom and are arranged on separating channel front wall under flat nozzles arranged to feed airflow jets into gaps between grid rods.
EFFECT: increased quality of cleaned grain and higher efficiency.
