FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: in skylight, comprising support cartridge, dome hingedly joined to it and drive for lifting the latter, arranged in the form of single-arm lever of permanent length joined to motor of transmitting mechanism in the form of single-arm lever of alternating length, some ends of which are hingedly connected to support cartridge, the other ones are hingedly connected to each other, and traction rod hingedly joined by its one end to end of single-arm lever of permanent length, free from engagement, and by its other end - hingedly to dome, traction rod is arranged in the form of rod of permanent length, at the same time areas of both hinged joints of single-arm lever ends of permanent and alternating length are arranged at support cartridge side opposite to axis of dome rotation.

EFFECT: invention provides for increased reliability, stability and cost-efficiency by reduction of load at transmitting mechanism and elimination of tilting due to alignment of permanent length single-arm lever and permanent length traction rod into a straight line in final open position of dome.
