FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine. The method includes administration of ferroglucine of 150 mg (2 ml) intramuscularly two times with an interval of 10 days, fosprenil intramuscularly two times in different syringes at different points, the first time 0.09 ml/kg simultaneously with the preparation of iron, the second time in a dose of 0.08 ml/kg in five days after the first injection of ferroglucine, and cresacine 4 mg/kg, included into the scheme of feeding for 8 days, starting simultaneously with the first injection of ferroglucine.
EFFECT: method enables to reduce mortality of calves and pigs, to restore the health of herd, to prevent weakening of an animal, to increase weight gain.
