FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft equipment and can be used in control systems for unmanned aerial aircrafts and sail-planes. Method for increasing unmanned aerial vehicle flight duration consists in the following: elevating force variation value is controlled by using additional elevating force created by convectional structures of atmospheric boundary layer. At first, unmanned aerial aircrafts is launched by means of engine installed on it, then location of atmospheric boundary layer convectional structure. Next following operations are executed: entry into the specified convectional structure, elevation in it via ascending convectional stream and exit with search for the next atmospheric boundary layer convectional structure in the gliding mode. The device for this method implementation contains automatic control and stabilisation system, steering gear group connected with it and electric power supply which are all located in aerial vehicle frame. Also following equipment is included: group of comparators connected with steering gears and altimetre, accelerometre group, integrator group and timer.
EFFECT: increase in flight duration, saving internal energy resources of unmanned aerial vehicle.
