FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of ceramic pigments used in colouring glase and glass. The ceramic pigment consists of the following components, wt %: Ga2O3 52.0-58.0; CaO 12.0-13.0; Sm2O3 27.0-31.0; Na2O 3.0-4.0. The pigment is sprayed onto the surface of ceramic plates over a glase suspension or on the surface of glass plates. After thermal treatment the surface of the articles acquires a cream colour with a yellowish tinge.
EFFECT: low temperature for synthesis of the pigment while retaining its alkali resistance.
