FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of road construction materials and specifically to asphalt concrete mix and can be used in making top layers of city and country roads. The asphalt concrete mix contains road bitumen, mineral powder and filler - crushed stone and natural sand. The mineral powder used is wastes from production of monomers - spent chromia-alumina catalyst with the following ratio of components of the mixture, wt %: road bitumen 5.6-7.2, spent chromia-alumina catalyst 6.4-12.5, crushed stone 32.0-48.0, natural sand - the rest.
EFFECT: higher quality of asphalt concrete mix and recycling hazardous wastes.
