FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of inventions relates to production of fibrous filtration materials. Electret filter material comprises thermoplastic resin and compound of formula Y²-A(R¹)_n-Y¹ , where A is benzol, naphthalene or anthracene, Y¹ and Y² is, separately, R²-R³, R² is complex ester binding group or amide binding group, R is alkyl group with 10 to 22 carbon atoms, R¹ is R²-R³, where R³ is independent group as defined above and if A is benzol, n varies from 0 to 4, and if A is paraffin, n varies from 0 to 6, and with A being anthracene, n varies from 0 to 8. Proposed method consists in forming fibers from thermoplastic compound and imparting electret charge to said filter material. Articles comprising claimed materials are described.
