FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises performing pointing with sharpened and tapered sections and drawing through one-piece die drawing channel. Invention aims at decreasing drawing strain, increasing drawing tool hardness and finished product surface quality. For this, inclination angle of die drawing channel generatrix defined by mathematical relationship that allows for drawing magnitude and process parametre that characterises the effect of process lubrication.
EFFECT: decreasing drawing strain, increasing drawing tool hardness and finished product surface quality.
