FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer sheet made from plasticized poly(vinyl butyral) (PVB) with treated surface, and to method of its production. Said polymer sheet has first surface and second surface at least one of which features waviness index below 20000 sq.mcm, surface R_z magnitude makes at least 20 mcm, and sheet surface stability varies from 10 to 95. Method of producing polymer sheet comprises fabrication of plasticised PVB layer with first and second surfaces. Note here that waviness index makes less than 20000 sq.mcm, first surface R_z magnitude makes at least 20 mcm. Note also that, additionally, said method comprises embossing by means of roughness mask on first surface of said layer to produce aforesaid polymer sheet with above specified characteristics of said first layer.

EFFECT: production of laminar panels from multilayer glass that feature low distortions.
